Spring Sips

We are so happy to finally have spring fully on our side! Commuting to the office in the snow and ice this winter was not particularly fun! Because we are so excited for this warmer weather and all of the beauty that spring brings- we want to celebrate in style.

Raise your glass to one of these lovely spring sips!

Blushing Whiskey Sour

Ingredients:

3 blackberries

2 ounces simple lemon syrup

1 ounce Bushmills Irish Whiskey

Crushed Ice

 Directions:

Add all ingredients to shaker & shake vigorously until blackberries start to break up. (This gives that gorgeous blush color). Strain into glass packed with fresh crushed ice. Garnish with additional blackberries.

Strawberry Basil Margaritas

Ingredients:

1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate

10 large strawberries

8 basil leaves

2 to 2 1/2 cups tequila (gold or silver)

 Directions:

Empty the limeade concentrate into a pitcher. Add 2 1/2 cans of water and 1 1/2 (18 ounces, or 2 1/4 cups) cans of tequila

Cut the stems off the strawberries, slice lengthwise, and add to the pitcher. Crumple the basil a little in your hands and add it to the pitcher, too. Place the pitcher, covered, in the fridge overnight, or for at least four hours.

When you remove the pitcher from the fridge, your margaritas will be a lovely pale pink color. Serve!

Makes 1 pitcher, or about 8 servings

This cocktail from New York’s Haru Sushi not only sounds delicious but it’s inspired by cherry blossoms which we (obviously) love.

2 oz. SVEDKA Cherry

1½ oz. Nigori Sake

½ oz. cranberry juice

½ oz. peach puree

Garnish: cherry

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a glass.
