Last week, B Floral supported a wonderful event for the Change for Kids organization held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The fourth annual Super Chefs event was organized to raise funds for underprivileged schools throughout New York City.

The event was filled with a wide selection of gourmet tastings from celebrity chefs including Marc Murphy. In addition to snacking on a variety of small bites, guests participated in a live auction that raised more than $625,000 by night’s end! The crowd also heard an inspiring speech from Naomi, a student from a Change for Kids school, who gave insight into the amazing work of the organization.

B Floral created arrangements that embodied rich hues of reds, oranges, and yellows; these colors popped against the beautiful waterside views of the Hudson River.

We also created an assortment of arrangements for the cocktail tables, bars, and lounge areas. Florals such as roses, ranunculus, and calla lilies were chosen to add a variety of texture to the arrangements.
B Floral also designed two large statement pieces and created a floral runner filled with candles and greenery to welcome guests to the venue. Another out-of-the-box design element we created was a decorated podium using large blooms, which added a pop of color to the auction space.
