Vibrant Event Flowers For A High-Profile Influencer Party & Product Launch

When influencers like Whitney Simmons and Brigette Pheloung (@acquired.style) are on the guest list, the event flowers must be Instagram-able, TikTok-able and unforgettable.

We brought Dae’s recent product launch party in NYC to the next level with our vibrant and fun floral designs. Influencers and press mingled beside a pink flower-laden DJ booth, posed with denim-decked cacti, and sipped branded cocktails near our larger-than-life bar arrangements.

All About The Event

Dae selected Make Believe, a rooftop restaurant and bar in SoHo, for the product launch party. Make Belive’s pink velour booths, outdoor decks, and airy atmosphere made it the perfect place to introduce NYC influencers to Dae’s new product, the Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream. They also invited Abbode, a trendy New York embroidery studio, to provide custom embroidery on denim totes gifted to attendees. A photo booth, DJ, and endless cute cocktails were also on-site for attendees to enjoy.

Our Concept For The Event Flowers

Pink maximalism was the name of the game for our flower arrangements and designs for the product launch event. Dae’s products include nourishing ingredients from desert botanicals, so we had to have cute cacti on-site! We used shades of pink that corresponded with Dae’s brand colors and incorporated denim touches to match the embroidered totes from Abbode for influencers to take home. 

We used pink anthuriums, roses, dahlias, pincushion proteas and more to create our event arrangements. We draped the DJ booth with armloads of bougainvillea and installed large arrangements on the floor around it for a stunning effect. We placed pink vases filled with blue-dyed carnations and hand-made denim flowers on the cocktail tables and decorated the cacti with fresh pink and red roses. From the photo booth to the check-in table, the entire space was filled with thoughtfully arranged vibrant flowers.

How We Brought Our Event Flowers To Life On-Site

After planning the event with Dae for weeks and creating a seamless logistics plan, we arrived on-site for the event with ample time to set up and make every detail perfect. Our event florists  started by installing our flowers on the DJ bar, and hauling in the plants and cacti for the event. It was warm in the event space when we arrived, so we kept the more delicate flowers in a closet where it was cool to ensure they would stay fresh. 

We placed and watered the bar and cocktail arrangements, and our florists refreshed any elements that were shuffled during the drive from our studio to the venue. We always bring extra flowers just in case the event flower arrangements need tweaking based on the client’s feedback in real-time or in case a flower breaks or needs replacing after delivery. We admired the elevator wrap install and helped the Dae team adjust their product displays to incorporate even more florals.

Highlights From The Product Launch Party

High-profile influencers in NYC shared content from the product launch event across Instagram and TikTok, including Annabell Hooper, Phoebe Reynolds and Winta Zesu. The photo booth and bar arrangements were heavily featured in influencer content, and the denim flowers were a huge hit with the Dae team. Influencers flocked to the outdoor spaces and snapped photos of the NYC skyline after the sun set.
