Tips On How To 'Wow' Your Guests At Your Next Event

Tips On How To 'Wow' Your Guests At Your Next Event

Yes, the hor d’oeuvre and cocktail menus are important, but these are our top pro tips on making sure your next event is one of the most talked about of the year.

Killer Theme

Who doesn’t love a trendy and fun theme? Give your guests a mini escape from reality for a bit by incorporating/executing a killer theme. Picking and executing one theme will also keep your event cohesive. If you’re launching a new product, picking a theme that emanates the vibe of your new product will also help your guests associate a certain aesthetic, color, or scent to your product.

For example, we helped Almay launch their #LipVibes lipstick line last year and decided to go with a tropical theme to match the tropical lipstick tube packaging.

Venue

Location location location! What a better way to wow your guests than with a gorgeous venue space. Venue can also be an important factor when it comes to the decor and event theme.

For our spring media event, we chose Home Studios. This event was “Enchanted Evening” themed and we were looking for a light and airy space to give it that whimsical vibe. Not only was the space gorgeous, but it was also located in the coveted Gramercy Park area of Manhattan.

Photo Moment

In today’s day and age, it’s all about your Instagram. If you want to wow your guests, incorporate a killer photo moment that is 100% “Instagrammable”. Give your guests a reason show off YOUR BRAND via their social media platforms. Having an “Insta-Worthy” photo moment at your event is great for getting exposure on digital/social media platforms!

Logo’d flower walls make for an upgraded photo op. Step and repeats have very much so upgraded into flower walls decorated around a brand’s logo or whatever product is being launched.

Who’s Hosting?

Secure those RSVPs with a host that everyone wants to meet/talk to. At our previous celebrity hosted media events, we’ve seen great turnouts from having recognized personalities host. Some of our past hosts include Kelly Rutherford, Carole Radziwill, Bethenny Frankel, and Lilliana Vazquez. Besides a great cocktail hour give your guests just another reason to attend.

Guest List - Influencers

Be the talk of the town and let your event be the place everyone wants to be at to be seen. A great perk about “now” is that we’re living in a digital influencer age, where guests come solely to “live-post” on their social media platforms. We’ve recently got a compliment from a fashion blogger, who told us that NYC based bloggers all plan to meet up at our media events to snap some great content for their platforms.

Stand Out Decor

Whether it’s an over the top flower wall or a hanging installation, your decor is what will take your event to the next level. Ambiance is everything and the decor of a space will most definitely set the tone for the night/day.

A Show Stopping Tablescape

Brighten up a space and wow your guests with a stand-out tablescape. Whether you’re hosting a dinner party outside or inside, an overflowing tablescape will get all the attention you want from your guests. Not only are fresh flower tablescapes a sight to see, they’ll be aromatically pleasing at the table.
