Why should I hire an event production agency?
In order to take the stress off a big event, consider hiring an event production agency to handle all of your design and production needs. An event design and production agency can handle all design aspects of an event. Often, the agency can handle as much or as a little of an event as you’d like.
An event production firm can conceptualize the floor plan and fully render the design of your event. Event production agencies can even handle anything from staging and lighting to flowers and décor. Leaving these details to an expert can open you up to focusing on planning your event and enjoying yourself the day-of!

How do I find a venue for our event?
The venue where you host your event can speak to your brand and your image. If you’re hosting a professional corporate event, you might want to find a space that exudes professionalism. If you’re launching a product targeted at the Gen Z generation, consider a venue that is more casual and inviting. Of course, guest count must be considered when searching for the perfect venue. It is important to find the right balance. You will want a venue that will comfortably fit all of your guests while also making the space seem full and vibrant.
B Floral can help you find a venue that is right for you. Our team of event design managers have extensive experience in venue scouting for an array of different types of events. We have a variety of corporate event venues that we have worked with and have a vast knowledge in finding a venue that will fit all of your event needs.
Are photo moments necessary for an event?
In the age of Instagram and Snapchat, it’s important to create an event that will leave a lasting impression on guests. While photo moments are not necessary for an event to succeed, we often suggest including one if your event is the right fit.
A photo moment will encourage guests to interact at your event and share the moment. This is especially important for branded events that wish to highlight a new company or product. Photo moments can include: simple logo’ed step-and-repeats, large scale installations, flower walls and interactive activations.
How much does a corporate event cost?
Corporate events range in price depending on the objective of the event. Intimate corporate dinner parties are a great way to encourage departmental bonding or a small team celebration. You can often find a venue or restaurant that will provide food and beverage at a group discount. Your décor can also stay minimal. Other corporate events can range well into the thousands (and hundreds of thousands) depending on size and scale. Nationwide corporations often have annual events to bring the entire corporation together. These events will obviously cost more and take a longer time to plan and execute.
What is an RFP?
‘RFP’ stands for Request for Proposal. Request for Proposals are used in many business sectors - from government entities to corporate organizations. RFP’s are also a common practice in the event industry. Often, companies or brands will send out multiple RFP’s to different design firms with an outline of what is being requested. In the event industry, event design firms are often asked for creative proposals or outlines to present their ideas and design concepts for the event. The company then picks the proposal that most likely aligns with what they are looking for - in both design and budget.
Does B Floral manage the entire event or just the flowers?
B Floral can handle every aspect of your event design. While we are known for our stunning floral installations, we also have the ability to manage the entirety of your event. Our process often includes a creative consultation with one of our event design managers. Depending on the scale of the event, we are able to provide samples, renderings and mood boards that will help you see the projected vision and design for your event.
What are the most common flower types used for corporate events?
The types flowers you will use for your corporate event depends on the objective and desired aesthetic of your event. Roses come in many varieties and colors, making them a great versatile flower choice. We often have clients that choose flowers based on their brand color and aesthetic. For example, peonies and dahlias are great flowers to utilize when conveying whimsy and femininity while protea and thistle make a statement through their texture and dimension. Floral seasonality must always be considered when choosing flowers for an event. Tulips and zinnias are great spring/summer flowers while dahlias and ranunculus are preferred fall/winter flowers. If you need a specific type of flower year round, consider roses and delphiniums.
