The Growth of B Floral
In 2010, Bronwen Smith launched B Floral from her living room. Today, in its ten years of business, B Floral has become one of the most notable event design and production firms in New York City. Over the past year, B Floral has grown our team from 17 employees to 25+ employees. 88.5% of our employees are female with our primary leadership at 80% female. Our capabilities have expanded far beyond the world of flowers. Today, B Floral is known for brand-driven design and experiential events – ranging from product launches to brand activations. In the past year, we have produced nearly 2.5 times more events compared to the previous year working with clients ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500s. B Floral has continued to expand its reach on a national level – producing events all over the United States including Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta.
In February of 2019, B Floral moved offices to keep up with our ever-growing staff and capabilities, most notably adding a female-run production studio to our space. The women behind the move worked tirelessly for months to ensure this was a smooth transition for all staff, and that every inch of our new space would be utilized in a way that would encourage collaboration and creative thinking. We are always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities, and at the rate we’re going, B Floral does not plan on slowing down any time soon!

Once we arrive on-site, the designers make the magic happen. They install, set, position, and style every item brought in for your event, no matter the size. Whether it’s a 12-foot greenery wall or a votive candle, our designers ensure that everything looks identical to the mock-ups and renderings that you created with our team. Being a female-owned company has taught our entire office, male and female, new lessons every day.
